Jock Landale Gets a start for the Phoenix Suns vs the Sacramento Kings
With the starters out to rest as the preseason closes out for the Phoenix Suns, the bench got some extra minutes moving into the starting lineup.
Jock Landale made the most of the opportunity and put up a solid stat line of 17 points, 8 Rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 3 Blocks.
With the increased playing time and role in the game, Jock showed his ability to knock down the open 3, find a deep seal and finish in the paint. One of the biggest takeaways for the Suns was his ability to play both sides of the ball, with the three steals and three blocks! Which lead to transition baskets. Jock also made the right passes and never looked to force the action, just letting the game come to him.
He also put the clamps on Domantas Sabonis on multiple occasions, keeping him to 9 points and 10 rebounds. You could see his enthusiasm for the defensive end, getting fired up after making a defensive stop when Sabonis tried to go one on with him inside the pain.
