The Wollongong Hawks have recruited the versatile swingman Kevin Tiggs as their second import for the 2013/14 NBL season. Tiggs is making his way to Australia having played professionally in France, Cypress and the Ukranian leagues after graduating from the East Tennessee State university in 2009. Most recently playing in the Ukranian league Tiggs put up some decent numbers averaging 10.1 points on 54% shooting, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game for the season. One of the most impressive additions to Tiggs resume is during his college career he averaged 21.5 points per game off 53% shooting and was ranked 16th in scoring in the NCAA division 1, with players like Blake Griffin, Stephen Curry in the top 15 of that year. The Hawks are awaiting for the approvals from FIBA and immigration and are hoping that Tiggs will play in the teams 1000th game in the NBL this weekend against Adelaide.
