The New Zealand Breakers have decided to release import forward Darnell Lazare and put Jeremiah trueman on a waiver both of whome have had a rough start to the season. This has freed up enough on the points cap to sign former import Gary Wilkinson. This is a great pick up for the Breakers as Wilkinson was with the breakers in their first 2 championships and is a big man who can shoot from long range. He was excellent at spreading the floor and drawing out defensive big men from the inside freeing up the Breakers guards to penetrate to the rim or kick it out to the 3 point shooters. Wilkinson will make his start with the Brakers on Thursday night against the Adelaide 36ers.
